This latest release supports Medit’s new i900 and i900 classic scanners and introduces powerful new features, including the SmartX Workflow for All-on-X Cases, to further optimize your digital dentistry workflow.

New Features
New Data Visualization Option
- Added a new data rendering option that simulates light reflection more realistically, resulting in a scan data that looks more natural. Access it via Side Toolbar > Data Display Mode > Glossy.
- Subsequently, the Data Display Mode feature has been updated to include the new Glossy option, along with Matte and Monochrome.
My Subscription (Web)
- A new menu is now available for managing subscribed products on the web.
- You can manage your subscription by accessing the ‘My Subscription’ menu, where you can update your payment method and check your billing date and amount.
- You can easily add or change your name and contact details for invoices when updating your payment method.
Payment Details (Web)
- You can now view your payment history in the Payment Details menu.
- Payment Details allows you to track your payment history for subscriptions and one-time purchases, as well as download invoices and receipts.
New Language
- We have added support for Ukrainian.
Improvements
Enhanced Case Synchronization Manager
- You can now filter cases by time period for upload or download.
- You can search for and filter cases or patients for upload or download.
- You can filter cases for upload or download by data type.
Updates to Patient Menu
- A calendar filter has been added, allowing you to narrow down patients by time period.
- The following columns have been added to help you easily find recently accessed patients:
- Last Modified Date
- Last Scanned Date
My Scanner: Registration Status Now Viewable
- You can now view your scanner’s registration status.
Updates to Case Converting Tool
- You can now select all cases for export.
- The total number of successful and failed case imports is now displayed separately for clarity.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an intermittent issue that prevented storage space from being freed up when using the Storage Management feature.
- Fixed a synchronization failure in Case Synchronization Manager caused by incomplete data deletion.
- Fixed an intermittent issue causing the Order button to become unresponsive when clicked.

Medit Scan for Clinics v1.13.1
This Medit Scan for Clinics update brings full support for the new Medit i900 classic scanner! Upgrade now to connect your new scanner and take advantage of its 3rd generation optical engine for effortless, high-quality scans. The new scanner also features easy operation with a single scan button, simplifying data capture and stage navigation.
New Features
SmartX Workflow for All-on-X Cases
- Added a new optimized scanning workflow for prosthesis creation in all-on-X cases. This restructured workflow facilitates easy and continuous data acquisition.
- It also includes specialized scan body libraries for all-on-X cases to enable automatic data alignment. Currently, the APOLLO and Scan Ladder kits are supported, with additional libraries to be added in the future.
- Data processing for the Scan Body stage can be separately customized in the Settings to match the user’s needs and preferences.
New Data Visualization Option

Scanner as a Cursor Functionality
- The i900 and i900 classic scanners can now replace the mouse to control the on-screen cursor.
- You can use the handpiece to directly control features and scan steps, minimizing keyboard and mouse use to help prevent contamination.

- Previously bumpy-looking surfaces now appear smoother.
- Data shown during scanning closely matches the post-processed results, providing a more accurate preview of the final outcome.
Auto Smart Scan Filtering
- A new option in the Settings automatically adjusts Smart Scan Filtering based on the target’s characteristics and scanning conditions.
- It also enhances the user experience for both teeth and soft tissue scan data acquisition.

Improved Usability of the Scan Body Stage
- The scan stage is now accessible without needing to scan the maxilla or mandible first.
- Improved to provide a smoother and more continuous scanning experience in cases with multiple scan bodies in edentulous jaws.
- The positional relationship between the scan body and the maxillary/mandibular data can be set using the Manual Alignment tool.
- In Scan Body Library Matching, all libraries are now stored on the server to reduce the use of local PC memory. Users can select which brand libraries to download and store locally based on their needs.
Enhanced Procedure for Manual Alignment
- Manual alignment of multiple data sets in the Maxilla/Mandible scan stages is now organized in a step-by-step process for easier following: Smart Stitching → Scan Body → Denture → Pre-Operational Data.
Improved Usability of Smart Stitching
- When scanning is stopped, all captured and unaligned data is displayed on the screen for easy review.
- The user is also prompted to delete the unaligned data before moving to other scan stages.
Medit Scan for Labs v1.8.1
Medit Scan for Labs now supports Medit’s new i900 and i900 classic scanners starting from this version.
